Okay. To do this, graph the point (0,2). The b is the place where the line crosses the y-axis...that's why we call it the y-intercept.
Now from that point, go up 3 and to the right 5 and graph another point. We do that because m = slope = rise/run = 3/5...that means we rise 3 and run 5.
Now connect the points.
Voila! A line!
