First, multiply every term by 4, to remove the 2 fractions:
2%285t%2B7%29=%283t%2B5%29+%2B+8t+%2B+12
10t+%2B+14+=+3t+%2B+5+%2B+8t+%2B+12
10t+%2B+14+=+11t+%2B+17
14+=+t+%2B+17
-3+=+t
--> t = -3
