Divide by a fraction means multiply by its reciprocal.





Factorize as much as YOU need for simplification. Into primes if YOU need to.

Hi there,
Divide and Simplify. (-32/36)/(-48/72)
(-32/36)/(-48/72)
This then becomes:-
-32 x 72/36 x -48
36 cancels out with 72 giving
-32 x 2/1 x -48
-32 cancels out with -48 giving
-2 x 2/1 x -3
= -4/-3
= 1 1/3
