Question 1017328: It says to solve problem.
x=3y+9
9-x=-3y
Answer by FrankM(1040) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x=3y+9
9-x=-3y
The second equation -
9-x=-3y
subtract 9 from both sides
-x=-3y-9
If we add back to 1st equation we get 0=0.
The 2 equations are identical, the same line. There is no unique solution.
