Question 1016542: Find the slope of 5y=-3. Also find the x and y-intercept and one additional point.
I divided 5 from both sides. y= -3/5. Is -3/5 the y-intercept? How do I find the slope? An additional point? Please help me as I am so confused. Please simply your answer. Thank you.

It really helps to do this:
" I am a straight line and when I look at the y-axis, I always
see . When I look at the x-axis, I might see anything,
or I can specify what I want to see. "
---------------------------------
The only thing that satisfies this is a horizontal line ( zero slope )
that intersects the y-axis at ( 0, -3/5 )
---------------------------------
As for finding an additional point, just pick any x you
want for the point ( x , -3/5 ), like ( 3/19 , -3/5 )
This is any you choose on the horizontal line.
Hope this helps
