First put it into the slope-intercept form
which is: +y+=+m%2Ax+%2B+b+
+m+ is the slope of the line
+b+ is the y-intercept

Add +3x+ to both sides
+-5y+=+3x%2B+15+
Divide both sides by +-5+
+y+=+-%283%2F5%29%2Ax+-+3+
The y-intercept, +3+, gives you
the point ( 0, -3 )

The x-intercept is where +y+=+0+
