Hi!
At the point of intersection,
2x²+1=2x²+5x-1
From the above,i have:
5x-1=1
5x=1-1
5x=0
x=0/5
x=0
put x=0 in y=2x²+1
i.e,
y=2(0)²+1
y=0+1
y=1
The point of their intersection is (0,1).
i.e at x=0 and y=1
HOPE THIS HELPS?
