Question 946733: How can I can find the length of a segment with Arc Measures?
I am really stumped on this problem, I cant figure it out and it's making me rip my hair out!
It is a circle, it has 2 segments A to B and B to C.
B and C both conjoin/meet at A.
the Length of AB is (2x).
The length of BC is (x+5)
The Arc Measure of A to B is 105 as is B to C (BC is the part that I solved)
The Arc Measure of AC is 150.
How would I solve this using those? I dont understand this.... and my book explains this so poorly that even my tutor can NOT understand what they are saying.
Any help in understanding this would be fantastic.

Here's my drawing based on what you said.

If you could post a diagram, it would really help.

Here's a couple of things that you said that were confusing.
The arc from A to B is 105.
The arc from B to C is also 105(?).
The arc from A to C is 150. How? It should be AB+BC=105+105=210.

Am I way off on my illustration versus the problem?
