Question 889082: Can you help me please to answer this, i don't really get what the problem means.
A 9 cm x 12 cm rectangular piece of paper is folded once so that a pair of diagonally opposite vertices coincide. What is the length of the crease?
Thanks for helping me.

The crease is the hypotenuse of the right triangle whose sides are 9 and 12, therefore if we let x be the length of the hypotenuse
x^2 = 9^2 + 12^2
x^2 = 81 + 144 = 225
x = 15 cm
the length of the crease is 15 cm
