Question 820730: Find the distance from point A (3, -2) To point B (7,1)
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
d = sqrt((x2-x1)^2+(y2-y1)^2)

d = sqrt((7-3)^2+(1-( -2))^2)

d = sqrt((7-3)^2+(1+2)^2)

d = sqrt((4)^2+(3)^2)

d = sqrt(16+9)

d = sqrt(25)

d = 5

So exact distance between the two points is 5 units.
