Question 761357: A square and triangle have equal perimeters. The length of three sides of the triangle is 6.1 cm, 8.2 cm and 9.7 cm.What is the area of the square.

Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Perimeter of Triangle = 6.1+ 8.2 +9.7 = 24cm
There are 4 equal sized sides on a square
each measuring 24/4 = 6cm
Area of a square = length^2
= 6^2
= 36cm^2.
Hope this helps.
