Question 629940: Hi, I am not sure if I am figuring this out correctly and do not want to go any further if I am not. I have to solve for C in the equation w = Cr^-2.
This is what I have come up with, could someone look it over and please let me know if I am on the right track, or if I am missing something correct it with how it should be figured. Thank you so very much!
w=Cr^(-2)
w=Cr^(-2)=w=r^(c/2)
700=3500c/2
700(C)=3500(C)
700C=3500C
700c/700=3500c/700 =
c=500

Answer by nerdybill(7384)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
if you started with:
w=Cr^(-2)
w=C/r^2
wr^2 = C
Now, you can plug in your values for w and r to find C
