Question 59831: how do u graph y=x/4+1
x=2
y=-7/2
what coordinates do u use 2 gragh it

Answer by checkley71(8403)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Y=X/4+1 THIS EQUATION IS FOR A LINE WITH A SLOPE OF 1/4 & A Y INTERCEPT OF 1
IF X=2 THEN
Y=2/4+1
Y=1.5
IF Y=-7/2 THEN
-7/2=X/4+1
X/4=-7/2-1
X/4=-9/2
2X=-36
X=-36/2
X=-18
SO TWO POINTS ARE (2,1.5)(-18,-7/2)
