Question 499134: Please help me with this question :
Two cars, a blue one and a red one, are driving towards each other from opposite ends of a 180km road. The blue car drives at 60km/h and the red car drives at 75km/h. How far from the blue car's starting point do they meet?
Thanks.

Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Blue Car 60 km/h
Red car 75 km/h
they are traveling towards each other
so add up speeds
75+60=135 km/h
distance = 180 km
time = d/r
time = 180/135
time = 1.33 h
Blue car speed = 60 km/h
time = 1.33 h
distance it travels to meet = 1.33*60
= 80 km.
