Show that the points(5,7)...A SAY, (3,9)....B SAY and (6,8).....C SAY are the vertices of a right triangle.
can use distance formula or slope.
SLOPE OF AB =(Y2-Y1)/(X2-X1)=(9-7)/(3-5)=-2/2=-1
SLOPE OF AC=(8-7)/(6-5)=1
PRODUCT OF SLOPES OF AB AND AC=1*-1=-1
HENCE THEY ARE PERPENDICULAR.SO ABC IS RIGHT ANGLED AT A.
