Can anyone help me with this? I'm not sure if this is the right topic, I am trying to find a length: In right triangle ABC, point O is the in-center. CD=2", AC=8"; AB=10". Find y if DB=y. (DB is a segment of CB, a line drawn from in-center O to CB). I have no idea where to begin. Any help would be appreciated!

to get you familiar with the incenter, which is the center of the inscribed
circle, and it is the point where all three angle bisectors (the green line
segments, AO,BO, and CO) all intersect. But all you needed was this:
