(3, 5) and (1, -8)?
Distance between the X points.
3-1=2
X midpoint=3-2/2=3-1=2 or 1+2/2=1+1=2.
Distance between the Y points.
5+8=13
Y midpoint=5-13/2=5-6.5=-1.5 or -8+13/2=-8+6.5=-1.5.
(2,-1.5) ans. for the midpoint.
