A box measures 1 metre X 1 metre X 1 metre. What would a box need to measure to hold twice the volume of this box?
Volume of the box is V=s^3 where s is the edge of the box and they are equal in this case.
Given V=2 means that
Therefore, to get twice the volume the dimensions of the box would be 1.26 metre x 1.26 metre x 1.26 metre
