The converse of a conditional statement is formed by interchanging the hypothesis and conclusion of the original statement.
In other words, the parts of the sentence change places.
The words "if" and "then" do not move.
What is converse to this "If I pass this test, then I am happy"?
Here is the converse without changing the words if and then:
"If am a happy, then I pass this test."
