Question 156211: How do I do the following problem:
Use the Pythagorean Theorem to find the distance between each pair of points
A(0,0), B(8,6)

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
6^2+8^2=d^2
36+64=d^2
d^2=100
d=sqrt100
d=10 is the distance from (0,0) to (6,8)
y=4x/3
(graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 10, y from -10 to 10, 4x/3).
