Question 146808: #6. We know that |[3,4]| = 5; how do we find a vector that points in the same direction and has length 1?
Answer by Fombitz(32388) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You need to keep the same ratio of 3:4 so multiply both by a and set the length equal to 1.
[3a,4a]
[3/5,4/5] has the same direction and now has a length of 1.
