4x+3=15-2x --------->Subtract (3)
4x+3-3=15-3-2x
4x+0=12-2x ----------> add (2x)
4x+2x=12-2x+2x
(4+2)x=12+0
6x=12 --------->Divide by 6
6x%2F6=12%2F6
x=2
