Use the midpoint formulas to find the coordinates of the midpoints of each of the sides of the triangle:





Where is a midpoint of one of the triangle sides and and are the vertices that are the endpoints of that side.

Once you have the midpoints, you can use the distance formula:



Where is any vertex and is the midpoint of the side opposite that vertex.
