Area of a rectangle = width x length
a) thus w x l = 300 ft. draw three rectangles with width and height combinations that equal 300. For example w=30 ft, l = 10 ft.
b) from equation above, if I solve for w, then w = 300/length,
c) use equation in b, substituting L for l.
d) what happens to Area/Length = Width if you increase length? Think about a fraction when you increase the denominator, what happens to the fraction.
e) create a graph using width as your x coordinate and length as your y coordinate. pick some values of each that when multiplied gives 300. I gave you one in part a (30, 10).
