.
Calculate the length of each side and then compare.

It is arithmetic.

Can you do arithmetic?

What is the length of the longest side of a triangle that has vertices at (-5, 2), (1, -6), and (1, 2)
Let's name: (- 5, 2), A; (1, - 6), B; and (1, 2), C.
Length of BC: 2 - - 6 -------> 2 + 6 = 8 units (Line is parallel to the y-axis)
Length of AC: 1 - - 5 -------> 1 + 5 = 6 units (Line is parallel to the x-axis)
You need to calculate segment AB using the distance formula. You should then be able to determine which is longest.
