Your slope is correct.
If we start your line segment
at (0,0) and with its 4 units
rise and 3 units run make the
end point (3,4)
Distance between points =
√(x2 - x1)^2 + (y^2 - y1)^2
√(3 - 0)^2 + (4 - 0)^2
√3^2 + 4^2
√9 + 16
√25
= 5 units
