Question 859856: Are f and g inverses of each other ?
g(x) = 1/2x - 1/3
f(x) = 6x+2/3

Answer by CubeyThePenguin(3113)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y = 6x + 2/3
y - 2/3 = 6x
(y - 2/3)/6 = y/6 - 4 = x

f^(-1)(x) = x/6 - 4

f(x) and g(x) are not inverses.
