it's opposite is moving the same number of spaces from zero in the negative direction on the number line as it is moving in the positive direction.
so we can take 150 and divide it by 2 to get 75.
(75 moved 75 spaces to the right on the number line, -75 moved 75 spaces to the left on the number line so they are now 150 spaces apart)
because they want the one that is greater, the answer is 75
