To muliply or divide signed numbers, treat them just like regular numbers but remember this rule: An odd number or negative signs will produce a negative answer. An even number of negative signs will produce a positive answer.
Or simply
Postive X Positive = Positive
Negative X Positive is the same as Positive x Negative = Negative
Negative x Negative = Positive
