Question 442292: does f(x) = cube root of 2x-5
Answer by swincher4391(1107)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To find the inverse of a function first solve for x.
y = cube root of 2x-5
y^3 = 2x -5
y^3 +5 = 2x
(y^3+5)/2 = x
Then switch your x's and y's.
(x^3+5)/2 = y.
So your inverse is:
