The original question I think was
(i)
If don't include the (_) then there is no solution.
if we do include the (_) then we get an answer.
we can express (i) as
(ii)
through some calculator manipulations, we get
x ~ -2.88946
If we apply this to the left hand side, we get
17.0000053 ~ 17.
