This is not clear exactly what you mean. Do you mean:
4%2F%283u-6%29=7%2F%283u%2B8%29?

If so, then remember this one? a%2Fb=c%2Fd means that a%2Ad=+b%2Ac

Likewise:
4%2F%283u-6%29=7%2F%283u%2B8%29 means that 4%2A%283u%2B8%29+=+7%2A%283u-6%29+

Multiply the parentheses:
12u%2B+32+=+21u+-+42+

Get all the variables on the right side by subtracting 12u from each side:
12u+-+12u+%2B+32+=+21u+-12u+-+42+
+32+=+9u-+42

Add +42 to each side:
32+%2B42+=+9u+-42+%2B+42+
+74+=+9u

Divide both sides by 9
u+=+74%2F9+

That's a pretty ugly answer, but that's life sometimes!! It's a hard problem to check, and the check on one like this is probably harder than just solving it again. If anyone finds an error, please send me an Email so I can fix it!!
