The function f(x)=|x+3|+9 is NOT a one-to-one function. The points (19,31) and (__,__) prove that f is not a one-to-one function. What is the missing set of points?
-------------------
Solve y = |19+3}+9
y = 31
----------
Solve 31 = |x+3|+9
22 = |x+3|
x+3 = 22 or x+3 = -22
x = 19 or x = -25
-----------------------
So two of the solution pairs are (19,31) and (-25,31)
This shows that f is not one-to-one.
