1.draw a small round circle.
2.draw a horozontal dine throuhg the middle.
3.put a dot in the middle of the circle.
4.write 4in. over the dot.
Now your circle looks exactly like mine.
Now here is the question..... Find the circumference of the circle at the right.Now the circle at the right looks like the circle that I just showed you how to draw. And I don't know how to find the circumference of a circle. So can you pleeze help me understand this question? (Oh and the possible answers to this question are .........12.56in, 6.28in, 1,265in, or none of these)

While a diagram is useful for many siuations, in this case, all you really needed to say was...Find the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 4 inches.
By the way, all circles are round!
The circumference of a circle is given by the formula: where D is the length of the diameter (4 inches) (the straight line through the center and terminting on the edges of the circle) and approximately.

The circumference of the circle is 12.56 inches.
