Question 1056569: Use elimination to solve each system of equations. I have to show all work and write the answer as an (x,y) ordered.
2x-y=-1
3x-2y=1
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x-y=-1;multiply by -2 to get -4x+2y=2
3x-2y=1
-4x+2y=2, now add them
-x=3
x=-3
substitute into the first and -6-y=-1
-y=5
y=-5
check in the second one
-9-(2(-5))=1
answer is (-3,-5)
