Invert and multiply:
\left(\frac{x\ +\ 4}{x\ +\ 2}\right))
Factor the quadratic denominator in the left-hand fraction (difference of two squares), then eliminate factors common to numerator and denominator (aka cancel like factors). Then multiply the two fractions that remain.
