Question 162915This question is from textbook
: Solve: x-3/3>=0
I got: 0> x >=3
Any clue if this is possibly close to being right?
I am assuming x-3 is above the 3 or ....
(x-3)/3 >= 0
3((x-3)/3) >= 0(3)
x-3 >= 0
x-3+3 >= 0+3
x >= 3
Check:
(3-3)/3 =0 which is >= 0
(4-3)/3=1/3 which is >=0
answer is correct

Case 2: Assuming
x- (3/3) >=0
x-1 >=0
x-1+1 >= 0+1
x >= 1
