Question 127189: I am trying to understand and I am having so many issues please help.
A tennis club offers two payment options:
A. $35 monthly fe plus $4/hour court rental
B. No monthly fee but $6.50/hour court rental
Letx = hours per month of court rental time.
a) write a mathematical model representing the total monthly cost, C, in terms of x for the following.
a) Opt.1: C=x*4+35
b) Opt 2: C= x*6.50
Did I do a and b correctly?
How many hours would you hve to rent the court so that the monthly cost of option 1, is less than option 2. Set up an inequality and show your work algebraically using the information in part a.
I do not get this part of the question.
