Question 937728: How do I do the formula for 2*-9<-2 I just can't seem to get the answer I need to see the steps so I know what I'm missing please
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2*-9<-2
multiply -9 by 2
-18 < -2
that's true, but you can get rid of the negatives, multiply both sides by -1
Whenever you multiply (or divide) by a minus, you reverse the inequality sign
18 > 2, this is also true
