Two approaches:

Approach 1:



Add 4t to both sides and subtract 48 from both sides:



Divide both sides by 4

Divide both sides by -4, remembering the rule that
when dividing both sides by a negative number, we
must change the direction of the inequality.

The answers are equivalent.  You learn from approach 1 that
it is always possible to avoid having to switch the order
