Question 903734: Did I do this absolute value inequality correctly?
|5-2x|≤4
5-2x≤4......or.....5-2x≥-4
-2x≤-1..............-2x≥-9
x≥1/2................x≤9/2
Is that right?
What would the final solution be?
Thanks
Answer by Theo(13342) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
yes, you did it right.
final solution is x >= 1/2 or x <= 9/2
this can also be written as:
1/2 <= x <= 9/2
in interval notation that would be shown as:
[1/2,9/2]
