I supposed to graph my answer to depict the variables in my situation.
This is my situation:
We were traveling to the valley over the weekend, after traveling 50 miles at a constant speed for 1/2 hour we were pulled over by a state trooper and wrote us a ticket for speeding. How fast were we traveling?
My answer is
(2/1)(50/1)=x(1/2)(2/1)
x= 100 mph
and with this answer I need help to make a graph were I can proof my situation!

Your answer for the speed is correct, but let's get to the graph.
First, you need to identify the dependent and independent variables.
Since the distance is dependent upon the speed (x) at which you are trveling (for a constant time), speed is the dependent variable. Let's call this D (for Distance)
So the independent variable would then be speed or x. And the time is a constant 1/2 hour.
