Question 86579: This is another problem I am having trouble with, I want to know if I have the correct answer!! (where I put brackets is actually where absolute value signs would go) 2[-11-7x]-2>10
Thank you so much for your help
Answer by scianci(186) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2|-11-7x|-2>10
Add 2 to both sides
divide both sides by 2
set -11 - 7x > the result
also consider the negative possibilities, in which case the signs and the inequality will change
