Question 802719: I came across this problem in my homework and I am not sure how to approach it. We have to solve this polynomial inequality and then write the answer in interval notation.
x-1/x-2 > or = 3
If you could please help me I would appreciate it. :)

Answer by Cromlix(4381)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x - 1/x - 2 >= 3
Cross multiply
x - 1 >= 3(x - 2)
x - 1 >= 3x - 6
x - 3x >= -6 + 1
- 2x >= -5
2x <= 5
x <= 5/2
Hope this helps.
