Simplify left side, distribute out the 7.
7x - 21 > 5x - 14
Get the x's on one side, and the rest on the other side.
-5x to both sides, and add 21 to both sides
2x > 7
Solving for x I presume, so divide both sides by 2 to get x on one side.
x > 7/2, or 3.5
