What you did wrong was to fail to reverse the sense of the inequality when you divided by the negative coefficient on
. Everything else you did was correct, so your answer should have been
.
Remember, you have to reverse the sense when you multiply/divide by a number less than zero. Think about this example: Two is certainly less than three, right? So:
Now multiply by -1:
Needs the opposite inequality sign, right?
