Question 766625: mrs smith must spend at least $35 to use her coupon for $10 off at American eagle. what is the inequality symbol to use and what is the inequality equation to use.
Answer by Shana-D77(132) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
These are counterintuitive:
"at least" is the same as "greater than or equal to"
"at most" is the same as "less than or equal to"
If she needs to spend $35 before using the coupon, then it's just x >_35
If she needs the total after the coupon to be at least $35, then x - 10 >_ 35
