Solve it just like an equation, except when you multiply or divide by a negative, switch the greater than/less than sign. (if its greater, switch to less)
So....-3x-7 is greater than or equal to 8.
If you do all the math to get x by itself you end up with x is less than or equal to -5.
Likewise, for the other fraction, -2x-11 is less than or equal to -31, you do the same thing and get x is greater than or equal to 10.
Now combine the two solutions with an "or". (This is called a union)
So, x is less than or equal tp -5 OR x is greater than or equal to 10.
