Question 73520: I solved this, but am not sure if I'm correct (the zero is making me think there's a trick):
1/6-1/3t>0
Here's what I came up with:
0/6-1/6+2/6 making t=1/6 which would be greater than 0. The interval notation would be: (0,1/6) and so on the graph, I would have two parentheses (one at zero, one at approximately 1/6). Did I do this correctly? Thank you for your assistance.
Answer by tazoftroy(22) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Actually, t would be greater than 0, but not limited to 1/6.
You can rewrite the equation to be:
Then, multiplying by the reciprocal of 3/5 would just give
So, the interval notation would be (0,+infinity)
