Question 72716: I saw this question asked but it was incorrectly written.
Solve the inequality 21/15-3x <0 and express the solution as an interval. Could be written: 21 divided by 15-3x <0
Answer by Nate(3500) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
21 / (15 - 3x) = f(x)
Horizontal asymptope is at zero ... so all values are less than or greater than zero.
15 - 3x can't be zero
15 - 3x = 0
15 = 3x
5 = x
Values left or right of this asymptope are either greater than or less than zero.
Right of 5 ~> f(6) = 21 / (15 - 18) = 21 / (-3) = -7
x > 5
